Who is National Benefit Builders, Inc. (NBBI)?
NBBI is a wholesale benefits marketing company specializing in unique healthcare savings programs and online benefit platforms. As one of the largest discount healthcare savings companies in the country, we continuously look to expand the value of our savings programs. The NBBI online platform requires little or no administration for sponsoring organizations, such as brokers, clients, employers, associations or national marketing organizations.
Does NBBI lease its networks?
NBBI can lease its various networks to marketing organizations, insurance companies and third-party administrators (TPA) on a wholesale basis. Each request and approval for network leasing is done on a case by case basis requiring specific parameters to be met. If you are interested in leasing one of our networks, contact us.
How are the discounts possible?
NBBI partners with companies and carriers who have contracted with Doctors, Facilities, Dentists, Veterinarians, or other programs and networks to provide our members the benefit of negotiated, or discounted, fees.
Is NBBI not-for-profit?
No, NBBI is a for-profit company with an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. We do have an outreach program, Community Assistance Program, where our goal is to make healthcare more affordable. As of the end of 2020, we have been able to save our members over $2 billion.
Are your programs available nationwide?
Yes, most of our programs are national programs with some exceptions. Our dental/vision discount program and GapAfford discount medical program are not available in the following states: Montana, Washington, Alaska, Vermont, New Hampshire and Idaho. Our prescription drug discount programs, including MedAfford Global Inc, are available in all 50 states and US territories.
Are your programs insurance?
Our Dental, Vision, Prescription, Pet, and Health network savings products are not insurance. These programs are what are known as discount, or reduced-fee for-service, programs. They offer our members a pre-negotiated discount for the services provided.
What does household mean?
A household consists of all people who occupy a particular housing unit as their usual residence, or who live there at the time of purchase of services or goods and have no usual residence elsewhere. This also includes students away at school. Households include not only occupants related to the householder, but also any partners, wards, foster children and extended family members who share the living quarters of the householder.
Am I eligible for your programs?
Everyone, without exception, qualifies for any of our discount, or reduced fee-for-service, programs.
